Meet the Nona ABA Team
Lianne M. Hurtado, M.S., BCBA
Owner and Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Lianne has lived in the Lake Nona area since 1996. She has seen this area grow from cow pastures to a flourishing community. She is married to her wonderful husband Ryan and they have a 7-year-old son named Rylan and a 3-year-old daughter named Layla.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2010. She started working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2012. In 2015, Lianne graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since August of 2015.
Since Lianne has seen the Lake Nona area grow, she recognizes the lack of resources for families with children with special needs. Therefore, this led to the creation of Nona ABA to deliver ABA therapy to the families in the Lake Nona community.
Lauren Ridge, M.A., BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Lauren completed her Master’s program at Arizona State University in Special Education, focusing on Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. Before entering the world of ABA, she was a general education classroom teacher for three years, teaching 5th and 6th grade. Lauren moved to Florida from Maryland in 2015 and recently to the Lake Nona area.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family (Jonathan & our two girls, Zelda (6) & Hailey(4)), being an amateur plant lady, great cups of coffee, and spending time outside (either at one of our local theme parks, biking or kayaking!).
Katia White, M.A., BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Katia embarked on her ABA journey in 2017 and quickly discovered her passion for the field. She went on to earn a Master’s in Exceptional Student Education from the University of West Florida, becoming a BCBA in 2019. Katia has gained diverse experience working in schools, in-home settings, and ABA centers, helping individuals ranging from ages 2 to 20.
Katia finds joy in celebrating both the little and big victories with the families she supports. She is passionate about taking a progressive approach to ABA, focusing on learning through empowerment and bringing joy.
Outside of work, Katia loves spending time with her husband and son and indulging in shopping trips with an iced coffee in hand.
Maddie Harris
Registered Behavior Technician
Hi, my name is Maddie and I grew up in Lake Nona. I attend the University of Central Florida and am pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing. I have babysat and been involved in this community my whole life and love it here. I like to spend my free time in the water, at the beach, reading or just hanging out with my family. I have always loved children and have known from a young age that I wanted to work with kids as a career. I was newly introduced to ABA therapy and immediately loved the field. I am currently working on my RBT certification and am looking forward to all that I have to learn. I was able to witness what ABA was doing for these children and how it was changing their lives and I feel called to take part in this amazing field. I am super excited to be a part of this team.
Kristina Allison
Registered Behavior Technician
I grew up in New Madison, Ohio in a small town. I moved to Florida 2 years ago.
I have a huge family. I'm the second oldest of 7 children and I have 3 kiddos of my own.
I love animals and have 4 dogs. My hobbies include doing puzzles, making things with my Cricut and spending time with my kids. I collect anything from the TV show Friends. It's my favorite show.
I got into ABA 6 years ago. I plan on continuing schooling to become a BCBA in the future. The thing I love most about ABA is seeing the kiddos reach their goals.
Erninda Morency
Registered Behavior Technician
Hi, my name is Erninda and I am excited to join the Nona ABA team as an RBT! I am from upstate New York but have lived in Florida for over 10 years. I attended Valencia College through the Duel Enrollment program and completed my Bacheclor's in Early Childhood Education Developmental Track at Florida International University. It has always been a passion of mine to help people and as I got older I knew I wanted to help guide the development of children to lead them into becoming their best selves in our interdependent society. I enjoy spending time with my family as I am the youngest daughter of two and hope to one day have my own family. I have been working with children for over 6 years from experiences of babysitting, resort guest activities, and becoming a teacher with my CDA. I found a passion in ABA as I had a few experiences with children as a teacher who received such services. My passion for ABA grew through research, previous experiences with students, and being a student in a few medical clinics. As a lifelong learner, I am excited to begin attending a University to obtain my Masters to become a BCBA.
Sam Bradshaw
Registered Behavior Technician
My name is Sam and I grew up in New England. I have a blended family with 5 siblings, all brothers! I am the second oldest and have always felt motivated to be a model for my younger siblings to look up to. I am a huge fan of all New England sports, I love going back to visit family and go to sports games. I love to travel when I can and am always planning trips. I have been to Dublin, Paris, Florence, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and most recently Cartagena, Colombia! My journey in ABA started in 2017 when I was attending Florida State University. My client demonstrated so much growth and the support and connections built with the family and teachers made being an RBT not feel like a job or work, that's when I knew this was the career for me! After graduating I moved to Orlando and taught Special Ed while getting my masters in Special Education/ABA as well as getting my professional teacher certificate. I am now back in ABA accruing my hours needed to sit for the BCBA exam. I hope to be a BCBA within the next year!
Irene Bultron
Registered Behavior Technician
My name is Irene Bultrón. I grew up in Puerto Rico and I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida “UCF”. I am now starting my master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University “NSU”. I am proficient in four languages: Spanish, English, American Sign Language, and Portuguese. My hobbies include working out and reading.
My passion for psychology led me to (ABA). This interest was further fueled by my experience as a research grant writer for a nonprofit organization called Love Serving Autism, as well as my time as a substitute teacher for Osceola County. These roles allowed me to help students and faculty staff, and I discovered my passion for making a positive impact on individuals who are neurodivergent.
Khyla Manning
Registered Behavior Technician
My name is Khyla Manning and I was born and raised here in Orlando. I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida, majoring in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Health Sciences. I am beginning my Masters to become a Clinical Mental Health Therapist. Some of my hobbies are traveling and exploring new places! I am an only child with a hispanic background, and have two super cute birds!! What led me to become an ABA therapist was my love for teaching and helping little ones grow. I have always been working in the psychology field, specifically with neurodivergent kids, and I would say my favorite part is definitely seeing each clients progress and how far they’ve come. I am beyond excited for what the future holds!
