Getting Started with Nona ABA
Beginning ABA therapy can feel overwhelming, but we're here to guide you through every step of the process. Our team is committed to making the enrollment process as smooth and stress-free as possible while keeping you informed along the way.
Our Enrollment Process
1
Initial Phone Consultation
Your journey begins with a phone call with a member of the Nona ABA team. During this conversation, we'll discuss your child's needs, answer your questions, explain our services, review the enrollment process, and determine whether ABA therapy may be an appropriate fit for your family.
2
Complete Our Online Intake Form
After the phone consultation, we'll ask you to complete our secure online intake form. This provides us with important information about your child, medical history, insurance, and therapy goals so we can begin the enrollment process.
3
Insurance Benefits Verification
Once we receive your intake information, our team will verify your ABA benefits with your insurance provider. We'll review your coverage, explain any authorization requirements, and discuss your benefits with you before moving forward.
4
Complimentary In-Home Meet and Greet
Next, you'll meet your child's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) during a complimentary in-home visit. This meeting gives your family the opportunity to get to know the BCBA, discuss your child's strengths and areas of concern, answer any additional questions, and ensure we're the right fit for your family. The BCBA will also determine the most appropriate assessment required by your insurance provider.
5
Assessment Authorization and Evaluation
After the meet and greet, we'll obtain authorization from your insurance company to complete the assessment. Once approved, your BCBA will schedule and conduct the assessment in your home with your child and family.
6
Treatment Plan and Insurance Review
Using the assessment results, your BCBA will develop an individualized treatment plan with recommendations for medically necessary ABA therapy. This treatment plan and recommended service hours are then submitted to your insurance company for review and approval.
7
Begin ABA Therapy
Once your insurance company approves the treatment plan and authorized therapy hours, we'll schedule your therapy sessions and match your family with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Your child's ABA journey begins, with ongoing support, collaboration, and regular supervision from your BCBA every step of the way.
